Freight Distribution: 53' Standard vs 53' Drop Deck
This diagram is accurate and to-scale with a 48" x 40" standard pallet. The blue is the 18" H x 11' L upper deck in the nose of the trailer.

STANDARD VAN (Top)
The standard trailer fits 26 (52 double stacked) pallets when put in straight. If you pinwheel (turn sideways) the pallets, you fit 30 pallets (60 double stacked).

DROP DECK VAN (Bottom)
The drop deck fits 24 total pallets (48 double stacked) when you put them in straight with 4 spaces on the deck in the nose, and 20 on the main floor. If you pinwheel (turn sideways) the pallets, you fit 30 pallets (60 double stacked) with 6 on the deck in the nose and 24 on the main floor.
